Bruce Silver, DMD, is a 1987 graduate of Temple University School of Dentistry, after earning his BA in biological sciences from Rutgers University in 1983.
Devoted to the idea of volunteerism, Dr. Silver began his dental career as a volunteer dentist in Israel. In 2016, he returned with Dental Volunteers for Israel to spend two weeks working at the Trudi Birger Clinic, a nondenominational clinic that provides free dental treatment for needy children
Dr. Silver’s quest for knowledge and his enthusiasm for dental excellence are unsurpassed. He constantly searches for the latest technology to ensure his patient’s comfort.
When not practicing dentistry or enriching his dental knowledge and skill, Dr. Silver enjoys tennis and music, playing with computers and video electronics. He tries to visit the gym and swim as often as possible.
Jean Bichera, DDS, is a board-certified periodontist. He received his dental degree from New York University and his Periodontal Specialty Certificate from the University of Louisville. Also holding a master’s in oral biology, Dr. Bichera has extensive training in implantology and bone regeneration. One of his greatest enjoyments is to see the transformation patients go through with the use of implants.
Traveling, walking, tennis and skiing are among his many outside interests.
Pam, Front Desk
Pam has known Dr. Silver for over 27 years and began working for him as receptionist and financial/insurance coordinator in 2012. She is a graduate of the Dorothy Aristane School of Business, holding her CDA and radiology certification. Her favorite places are Broadway in NYC and the beach. Spending time with family, friends, and puppy are among her top-rated activities, along with watching the Phillies, photography, collecting sea glass and shells, swimming, camping, and bowling. She especially likes celebrating and decorating for Halloween and Christmas, and driving her Jeep. An active volunteer, she has worked with the Masonic Home, area schools, the recreation committee, the Wetlands Institute, the Special Olympics, Ladle of Love, various food banks, and the Dare to Scare Haunted House.
Danielle, Dental Assistant
Earning her dental assisting certification and radiology license at Ocean County Vocational Technical School, Danielle has enhanced our office with her compassionate and sunny disposition. Loving to travel, meeting new people, and learning new cultures, she is passionate in volunteering to provide Bible education to teach people how to enhance their lives by living more peaceably. In her spare time, Danielle likes to sing, read, spend time with family and friends, cook new and exciting dishes from other counties, and relax on the beach.
Jayne, Dental Assistant
Jayne has been a devoted member of Dr. Silver’s staff since 1989. She graduated from Camden County College with CDA dental certification and her radiology license, then went on to later earn RDA certification. She enjoys travel, cooking, scrapbooking, gardening, and walking the beach in the summer. Also on her favorites list are movies, bowling and golf. But her biggest passion is the Flyers, who she refers to as “My Boys.” Jayne has many patients who she counts as friends.
Lois grew up and lives in Edgewater, NJ. She graduated from Camden County College with an AS, studying dental hygiene, and eared a BS in applied science and technology from Thomas Edison State College. Currently, she divides her work-week between serving as a clinical instructor in the Burlington County College Dental Hygiene Department and as valued staff member here in Dr. Silver’s office. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienist Association, Sigma Phi Alpha (Dental Hygiene Academic Honor Society), and the American Association of University Women. She regularly volunteers for Give Kids a Smile Day (free dentistry for children 12 and under, sponsored by the ADA), as well as at her church. Among her favorite things are cooking, reading, travel, and singing in her church choir. She considers many of her devoted patients as a part of her extended family.
You can tell by her faint drawl that Tanya is a transplant from Texas. She graduated from Wharton County Junior College with a degree in dental hygiene and has been in practice for nearly 25 years. She’s been a member of our team since 2011, where she loves coming to work each day to see her patients, catch up on what’s new in their lives, and teach them how to maintain and improve their oral health. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending time with her friends and family, including her pug Daisy.
